I want to post this photo, and let you wonder what it is for a few seconds before telling you…

This shot I took up the side of a sunken cargo ship off the coast of Bonaire, at a depth of 70 feet. It looks like a windstorm on a green prairie to me, and was surprising to me how it looked once I had it on my computer. But I thought it’s softness lent it a dream-ish quality.

wow, so good
Thank you Terry. Isn’t it funny when you take a picture you never know how it will actually look even when you have a preview on the screen?
Would have never guessed it was the side of a ship. It does look dreamy.
Weird, huh?
I thought it was a prairie with a locust swarm or some other insect.
Nice shot Arnel
THanks Jim! It’s nice to be surprised every once in a while with a photo, even though most cameras have the instant preview feature now.
Wow – I never would have guessed that!
Took me by surprise!
…floating dreams! Beautiful!
Thanks Marina! It was a pleasant surprise when I saw it off the camera!
Excellent shot. There is a lot to dream about this photo
Yes, but I haven’t decided if they are bad dreams or good! It just seems to me like a violent windstorm…
wow! So cool. Underwater. A world I will likely never see but enjoy!
Thanks! It’s a different world…
beautiful world.
And very peaceful too! Thanks for stopping by.
Love this – initially thought it was in the middle of a tornado! Then went straight to ocean floor as I thought of snorkelling in Maui last year.
That’s what my husband kept saying, and he was there! He said, “It looks like a windstorm!”
It really does look like a windstorm on a prairie! I would never have guessed that it was an underwater shot. Would love to see photos of the shipwreck too.
Have a couple, I’ll see if I can get them in a post. Maybe on my other website, TheRomanticTraveler.
Surreal! I didn’t recognize it as being underwater. Very cool.
Glad you liked it!
You got me on this one. Also thought it was a storm on a prairie.
