It’s been a challenge to find subjects for my floral Fridays, what with being away and fall in full swing. I went to a botanical garden a few days ago, and shot some flowers that were kept in the greenhouse there.

Lovely photos, and I agree wholeheartedly with the quote. When a person is truly grateful, you can’t KEEP happiness away.
Thank you! I wish it was a little easier to hold on to though. 🙂

I’ve never seen a powder puff before – amazing!
Thank you! I’d never seen one before either. This one was behind the door into the orchid room. I almost missed it!
Gorgeous! Love the softness of the yellow rose, and the Vanda is striking too.
Thanks Madhu! My favorite rose is the Cherry Parfait rose–white and red swirls.
Wonderful set of flower shots Arnel! You’re right, amazing creations!

Might have be difficult but you found some pretty beautiful flowers…Diane
Diane, I looked up botanical gardens in the area. I found one in D.C., but they are rather controlled. No flash, no tripod, unless you have a permit. I’m trying to get one… 🙂
