Oh boy! I haven’t done a weekly photo challenge in a long while, so I may be a little rusty. Last night we went to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, where every year they display holiday lights in the Gardens. There is a lake there, and the lights reflect off the water creating a beautiful effect.

have you had anything published? you are so full of talent
Thank you Terry. No, I haven’t had anything published. I am thinking of working on a floral coffee table book this next year. I also have some writing I’m working on as well. I only lack the courage… 🙂
please do not be afraid. you have a talent which makes others feel good about the day.
Thanks Terry!
Your photographs are so beautiful and festive!
Thanks Elisa!
Love the trees in the first image, great capture!
Thank you!
well, just need to find that courage then, Arnel! 🙂 can’t wait for both books to hit the shelves and the book tour to begin 🙂 fabulous pics and ‘intense’ is so apt a descriptor for the light show and the effect!
Thanks Joseph. The lights were fun to see–until it started raining that is. 🙂 We had a great time, though.
yikes….but rain’s an awesome subject too! as long as you stay dry! enjoyed the pics as always, Arnel
Thanks!

For someone who is rusty great reflections…those botanical gardens are perfect for capturing awesome visuals, but your night time shots are beautiful and so full of colour. Thanks for your comments and dropping by my BLOG
They really are! I love botanical gardens although I didn’t appreciate them when I was younger. Now, it makes all the tension flow away from me when I walk around one.
Love these!
Wow! Thanks! Just looking over your website! You are an amazing photographer. How long did it take you to do the book on Asia?

Thanks Maddy!
