Thanks Marina! Do you tweak your watercolors in PS or just creat different things from scratch? I’m looking for a book to help Bugs and myself with learning it.
Usually I don’t do much on my scanned watercolors. Just clean them up and maybe add a filter [noise – paint daubs etc] for very big enlargements. I don’t know of a book. The method I use is “learn in the process”! I’ve used that even for very complicated applications! I find manuals weren’t written by …human beings!
For my digital paintings, I do them from scratch. I just start using all those wonderful brushes and mediums available and paint as I would on paper. It just takes more time – for me anyway. Helps a lot that I’m using a very good pen tablet.
The one I was recommended to [and using] is a wacom bamboo tablet and they vary in prices. I think they start from 79$ appx which is not bad and with 200 you get their best one. You can see them here: http://www.wacom.com/products/pen-tablets/bamboo. A word of warning though, once you start using it, there’s no turning back!
First flowers of the year! They are gorgeous!
🙂

Is there a pen tablet you recommend that isn’t too pricey?

What a great variety of colours, very nice flowers, and great photos.
Thanks Mags!
I love the Lincoln quote… One of my favorites!
Thanks! Like Ben Gates, he’s my favorite president too. Especially now since the movie…
