A very apt quote for the times, Arnel. Beautiful pics!
Thanks JM. Hope your Christmas was peaceful, and devoid of stress.
All Things,
Great quote. I had not heard (or read it) before.
I think the way to be plenteous in mercy–how do I say this?–is to feel the insult of Christmas. Christmas means that we humans had sunk to such a point (anger, hatred, injustice) that the only cure was God coming down to take our pain.
It is also the greatest compliment: Jesus came and suffered for the joy that would be his…and that joy is us.
If I’m loved to that degree, the only way I can respond is with love and mercy for all.
Thanks for a great post.
Thank you! Very true, as well. Hopefully the spirit of the season helps to melt away our sins and steady us for a new year in which we can triumph with a purer heart. A Happy New Year to you!
Beautiful! I love seeing flowers…takes away the annoyance from being in the middle of a snowstorm!! Merry Christmas!
Hope you survived your snowstorm, and had a wonderful and peaceful Christmas. Glad you liked the flowers!
Merry Christmas, Arnel!
Merry Christmas Robin! Have a great time in the powder!
Beautiful close ups and macros, I love the first one the most. The way things are drifting in and out of focus, really beautiful 🙂
Thanks for sharing!
Rohan.
Thanks R7! Hope you had a great Christmas!
I did, thanks 🙂 Hope you had a lovely Christmas as well!
Rohan.
It was nice. Busy, but nice. 🙂
The photography is, as I have come to expect from you, breathtakingly beautiful. The quote from Coolidge is apropos for the season. I have a great deal of admiration for what you do.
Thank you AFW! Hope your Christmas has been a peaceful, happy one.
Christmas, for us, was quiet. That’s just the way we like it. New Year’s will be the same, Whoever willing.
I never thought about just how quiet we are… there are times we can hear the cats snore and the battery-powered wall clock tick.
Same here. We usually travel, but not this year. It was nice to have Christmas in my jammies.
Beautiful quote and lovely flowers, Arnel. 🙂 Merry Christmas to you.
Thanks AP! Merry Christmas to you as well! 🙂
Great, timely quote, lovely, colorful details in the photos.
